Marker joint

A section of tubing or casing that is distinctively marked or measured to indicate a specific depth or position within the wellbore. These joints are used to accurately locate downhole equipment, perforations, or other features during well workover or intervention operations. The length and position of a marker joint are precisely recorded in the well file.
