Casinghead

A heavy-duty fitting installed at the top of the surface casing string, serving as the foundation for the wellhead assembly. It provides a means to suspend subsequent casing strings and to seal the annulus between them. The casinghead typically includes outlets for pressure monitoring and cement returns.
