Tubing hanger

A component installed in the wellhead that supports the weight of the tubing string and provides a seal between the tubing and the casing. It allows for the connection of surface production equipment to the tubing and isolates the annulus from the production bore. Tubing hangers are typically designed to accommodate multiple tubing strings in complex completions.
