Tubing grade
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-003934
A classification of tubing material based on its mechanical properties, primarily yield strength and tensile strength. Higher grades indicate stronger steel, capable of withstanding greater pressures and stresses in downhole environments. Common grades include J-55, N-80, L-80, and P-110, each suited for different well conditions.
