Liner hanger

A mechanical device that suspends a liner from the bottom of the previous casing string in a wellbore. It provides a seal between the liner and the casing, allowing for continued drilling or production operations below the hanger. Liner hangers are typically set hydraulically or mechanically and are designed to withstand the weight and pressure of the liner.
