Liner patch
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-002176
A remedial technique used to repair a damaged section of casing or liner by installing a shorter, smaller-diameter pipe section inside the existing tubular. The patch is typically sealed at both ends with packers or cement to isolate the damaged zone and restore the integrity of the wellbore. This method avoids replacing the entire casing string.
