Tieback string

A string of casing or tubing run from the surface to connect to a liner top or an existing casing string deeper in the wellbore. This connection extends the pressure integrity of the wellbore to the surface, allowing for continued drilling or production operations. It is commonly used to repair damaged casing or to extend a liner to the surface.
