Coiled tubing string

A continuous, flexible steel pipe spooled on a large reel, used for well intervention and workover operations without a conventional rig. The tubing is injected into and retrieved from the well through a pressure-control stack, enabling live well interventions. Coiled tubing strings are manufactured in diameters ranging from less than 1 inch to over 3.5 inches and can be thousands of feet long.
