Reel

A large spool or drum designed to store and deploy coiled tubing, wireline, or other continuous lengths of pipe or cable used in well intervention operations. It is equipped with a drive system to wind and unwind the material under controlled tension. Reels vary in size depending on the length and diameter of the material they handle, with some capable of holding several miles of coiled tubing.
