Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-003549
A device used to guide coiled tubing or wireline evenly onto a storage or work reel under controlled tension. It features a levelwind mechanism with a sheave or guide that travels back and forth across the width of the reel drum as it rotates. This controlled movement creates a neat, tight wrap, preventing gaps and crossovers that could damage the line or cause deployment problems on the next job.
