Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-001158

A pipeline located after a processing plant, refinery or other reference point in the direction of flow, carrying treated gas, stabilized crude oil or refined products onward to storage, distribution networks or end users. It includes long-distance transmission lines as well as local delivery lines, so operating pressure is high on transmission segments and low on distribution mains. It follows the gathering lines that collect fluid from wells.
