Pipeline

A system of interconnected pipes used for the long-distance transportation of fluids, such as crude oil, natural gas, refined products, or water. Pipelines are a critical infrastructure component for moving hydrocarbons from production sites to processing facilities, storage terminals, and consumption markets. They can be buried underground, laid on the seabed, or constructed above ground.
