Flow after flow

Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-001467

A type of deliverability test conducted on a gas well where the well is flowed at a series of increasing stabilized rates, with each rate maintained until pressures stabilize. This test provides data points for constructing an inflow performance relationship (IPR) curve, which characterizes the well's ability to produce gas. It is also known as a multi-point backpressure test.
