Flow profile
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-001482
A graphical representation of fluid velocity or contribution across the diameter of a wellbore, generated from production logging tool data. The profile shows how much fluid is entering the well from different intervals of the perforated zone. A uniform profile indicates even contribution from the entire interval, whereas a skewed profile points to issues like water coning, gas breakthrough, or formation damage in specific zones.
