Injection-well testing
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-001995
A diagnostic procedure performed on wells used to inject fluids, such as water or gas, into a reservoir to maintain pressure or enhance oil recovery. This testing evaluates injectivity, identifies formation damage, and determines reservoir properties around the wellbore. It often involves monitoring injection rates and pressures over time.
