Pressure transient well test
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-002925
A diagnostic procedure involving the controlled manipulation of a well's production rate or injection rate to observe the resulting pressure response in the wellbore and surrounding reservoir. This test provides information about reservoir properties such as permeability, skin factor, and reservoir boundaries. Common types include drawdown, buildup, and interference tests.
