Pressure transient analysis
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-002923
A technique used to interpret pressure and flow rate data acquired during well tests to determine reservoir and wellbore properties. This analysis involves studying the transient pressure response caused by a change in flow rate, such as during a buildup or drawdown test. It provides estimates of permeability, skin factor, and reservoir boundaries.
