Drawdown test
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-001173
A well test conducted by flowing a well at a constant rate and monitoring the decrease in bottomhole pressure over time. The pressure data are analyzed to determine reservoir properties such as permeability, skin factor, and reservoir boundaries. This test is often performed after a well has been shut in for a period to establish a stable initial pressure.
