Buildup test

Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-000483

A well test conducted by shutting in a producing well and monitoring the increase in bottomhole pressure over time. The pressure data are analyzed to determine reservoir properties such as permeability, skin factor, and reservoir pressure. This test is a common method for evaluating reservoir performance and wellbore damage.
