Pressure buildup
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-002912
A well test conducted by shutting in a producing well and recording the increase in bottomhole pressure over time. This test provides data to determine reservoir properties such as permeability, skin factor, and average reservoir pressure. The analysis often involves plotting pressure against the logarithm of time or a superposition function.
