Final flowing pressure

Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-001417

The bottomhole pressure recorded at the end of the last flow period, just before the well is shut in. It is the starting value of the buildup or falloff that follows, so the pressure rise is measured from it. It lies below the average pressure of the reservoir by the drawdown that production created, which is why it is called a flowing pressure.
