Modified isochronal test
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-002410
A well test procedure used to determine the flow capacity and reservoir characteristics of a gas well. It involves flowing the well at a series of increasing rates, with each flow period followed by a shut-in period of equal duration, allowing pressure to build up. This method provides an accurate measure of the well's deliverability without requiring the well to reach stabilized flow at each rate.
