Stabilized gas well
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-003577
A gas well whose production rate and flowing bottomhole pressure have reached a relatively constant state over a period of time. This indicates that the transient effects of a rate change have dissipated and the well is producing under pseudosteady-state conditions. The stabilized flow data is used to determine the well's deliverability and reservoir properties.
