Slickline

A single, unbraided strand of wire, typically made of high-strength steel, used to run and retrieve downhole tools in a wellbore. It is deployed from a drum on a slickline unit and does not transmit electrical signals. Slickline operations are common for tasks such as setting plugs, shifting sleeves, and performing basic wellbore interventions.
