Through-tubing
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-003831
Relating to well intervention operations conducted through the existing production tubing without its removal from the wellbore. These operations use tools and equipment small enough to pass through the tubing's internal diameter, such as those deployed on coiled tubing, wireline, or slickline. Through-tubing work contrasts with conventional workovers that require a rig to pull and replace the entire completion string.
