Measurement after drilling

The process of acquiring formation evaluation data using logging tools conveyed into the wellbore after the drilling operation has been completed for a specific section or the entire well. This contrasts with logging while drilling (LWD) where measurements are taken concurrently with drilling. Wireline logging is a common method for measurement after drilling.
