Stock tank

A large storage tank located at a production facility or lease site, used to hold crude oil or condensate after it has been separated from gas and water. The oil in a stock tank is typically at atmospheric pressure and ambient temperature, representing the final marketable liquid product before transportation. Its volume is measured in stock tank barrels.
