The T cells are derived from the patients’ peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) and are primed and activated against tumor-specific neoantigens that are expressed on the patient’s tumor cells or in the tumor microenvironment (TME), and expanded ex vivo. Upon administration, the autologous neoantigen-specific T lymphocytes NEO-PTC-01 recognize and bind to tumor cells expressing the targeted neoantigens, resulting in a cytotoxic T-lymphocyte (CTL)-mediated immune response against the patient's tumor cells.",
