ravuconazole

  1. A substance that is being studied in the treatment of infections caused by fungi. It belongs to the family of drugs called antifungal agents.

  2. A triazole with antifungal activity. Ravuconazole inhibits 14a demethylase, an enzyme involved in sterol synthesis, resulting in lysis of the fungal cell wall and fungal cell death.
