Copolymer
Term · Additive manufacturing and 3D printing · MLC-T-ADM-000085
A polymer derived from two or more different monomer species, as opposed to a homopolymer which is made from a single type of monomer. The different monomers are linked together in the same polymer chain, creating a material with combined properties from its constituent parts. Examples include ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) and EVA (ethylene-vinyl acetate), both widely used in 3D printing filaments.
