Infill
Term · Additive manufacturing and 3D printing · MLC-T-ADM-000182
The internal structure or pattern printed within the outer walls of a 3D printed object, designed to provide structural support and reduce material usage. Infill density, typically expressed as a percentage, determines the amount of material used and directly impacts the part's strength, weight, and print time. Common infill patterns include honeycomb, grid, or rectilinear.
