Solid Freeform Fabrication, an umbrella term encompassing a range of additive manufacturing processes that build three-dimensional objects layer by layer from a digital model. These methods create physical parts by adding material rather than removing it. Examples of SFF technologies include stereolithography, fused deposition modeling, and selective laser sintering.
