Acceptance limit

A specified boundary for a measured quantity, beyond which the result is considered unacceptable for its intended purpose. This limit defines the range of permissible values for a characteristic of an item or process. It is often established based on regulatory requirements, product specifications, or validated analytical method performance criteria.
