Health-based exposure limit
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-005140
A concentration of a chemical in air, water, or food that is derived from toxicological data and is intended to protect human health from adverse effects. These limits are established based on scientific evidence of dose-response relationships and are often used as benchmarks for regulatory standards.
