Air pollution control system

An engineered assembly of devices and processes designed to reduce or eliminate the emission of harmful substances into the atmosphere from industrial or other sources. These systems employ physical, chemical, or biological methods to treat exhaust gases before their release. Examples include scrubbers, electrostatic precipitators, and catalytic converters, which target specific pollutants.
