Alert levels

Predetermined thresholds for pollutant concentrations in the ambient air that trigger specific public health advisories or control measures. These levels are established by regulatory agencies to warn the public about potentially harmful air quality conditions. Actions taken at these levels can range from issuing health warnings to implementing emergency emission reduction plans.
