Anodontia

A rare congenital condition characterized by the complete absence of all teeth, including both primary (deciduous) and permanent sets. This developmental anomaly results from a failure of the tooth buds to form. The condition is distinct from hypodontia, which is the absence of one to five teeth, and oligodontia, which is the absence of six or more teeth.
