Amelogenesis imperfecta

A group of inherited disorders affecting the development of dental enamel, leading to teeth that are discolored, pitted, grooved, or unusually small. This condition results from genetic mutations that disrupt the formation or mineralization of enamel proteins. The severity and appearance of affected teeth vary depending on the specific genetic defect.
