Arthrosis

A degenerative joint disease characterized by the breakdown of cartilage and underlying bone in a joint, leading to pain, stiffness, and reduced range of motion. Unlike inflammatory arthritis, arthrosis primarily involves mechanical wear and tear rather than systemic inflammation. Osteoarthritis is the most common form of arthrosis, affecting millions worldwide.
