Inflammatory bowel disease

A group of chronic inflammatory conditions affecting the gastrointestinal tract, primarily Crohn disease and ulcerative colitis. These diseases are characterized by recurrent episodes of inflammation, leading to symptoms such as abdominal pain, diarrhea, and weight loss.
