Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-000849
A chronic inflammatory disease of the airways, characterized by recurrent episodes of wheezing, breathlessness, chest tightness, and coughing. These symptoms are often triggered by allergens, irritants, exercise, or respiratory infections, leading to reversible airflow obstruction. The inflammation causes the airways to become hypersensitive and narrow.
