Byssinosis

An occupational lung disease caused by prolonged inhalation of cotton, flax, or hemp dust, primarily affecting textile workers. Symptoms include chest tightness, cough, and shortness of breath, particularly on the first day of the work week. It is classified as a type of occupational asthma or chronic bronchitis.
