Behcet disease

A chronic, multisystem inflammatory disorder characterized by recurrent oral and genital ulcers, skin lesions, and ocular inflammation. It is a form of vasculitis, affecting blood vessels of all sizes, and can also involve the joints, central nervous system, and gastrointestinal tract. The etiology is unknown, but it is considered an autoimmune disease with a genetic predisposition.
