Primary sclerosing cholangitis

A chronic liver disease where the bile ducts inside and outside the liver become inflamed and scarred, leading to narrowing and obstruction. This progressive condition impairs the flow of bile, causing it to build up in the liver and eventually leading to liver damage. It is often associated with inflammatory bowel disease.
