Cirrhotic

Relating to or characterized by cirrhosis, a late stage of progressive liver disease. This condition involves the replacement of healthy liver tissue with scar tissue and regenerative nodules, leading to a loss of liver function. The fibrotic scarring is typically irreversible and disrupts the normal architecture and blood flow of the liver.
