Rheumatoid arthritis

A chronic autoimmune disease characterized by inflammation of the synovial lining of joints, leading to pain, swelling, stiffness, and progressive joint destruction. It can also affect other organs and systems in the body. The disease is diagnosed through a combination of clinical symptoms, physical examination, and laboratory tests, including the detection of rheumatoid factor.
