Biological preparation

A substance or mixture derived from living organisms, such as vaccines, antibodies, or cell extracts, intended for diagnostic, therapeutic, or prophylactic use. These preparations are often complex mixtures of biological molecules with specific activities. Their production and quality control are subject to stringent regulatory standards.
