Comonomer
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-002290
A monomer that is polymerized with one or more other distinct monomers to form a copolymer. The incorporation of different comonomers allows for the tailoring of polymer properties, such as flexibility, strength, or solubility. The ratio and arrangement of comonomers in the polymer chain influence its final characteristics.
