Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-002779

The rate at which new cases of a disease or health condition occur in a population at risk over a defined period. This measure reflects the average risk of developing the condition during that time. It is calculated as the number of new cases divided by the sum of the person-time at risk for each individual in the population.
