Cumulative incidence ratio

A measure of association that compares the cumulative incidence of a disease or health outcome in an exposed group to that in an unexposed group over a specified period. This ratio quantifies the relative risk of developing the outcome due to exposure. A value greater than 1 indicates an increased risk in the exposed group.
